Business Development Manager, Litigation
For the New York Office of a Boutique International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Facilitate the planning and implementation of the Firm’s BD activities; including BD training programs and projects;
- Track, advance, and report on the progress of BD projects and initiatives with a proactive, diplomatic, and motivational approach;
- Manage the pitch tracking process, including identifying next steps that align with strategic goals;
- Prepare company, industry, and market research and provide insightful competitive analyses and reports;
- Prepare pitches and presentations and assist with RFP responses;
- Develop strong working relationships with key partners in all practice areas, in all offices, and with other members of the BDM team and across departments.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, client development, or marketing in an international law firm desired;
- Experience with business research platforms, particularly regarding litigation data and trends;
- Excellent project management skills and organizational ability;
- High competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
- Familiarity with client relationship management software.
