Legal Recruiting and Professional Development Assistant

For the Bay Area Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate all aspects of law student recruiting;
  • Assist with onboarding of new attorneys and the coordination of new associate orientation;
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend the summer program and on-campus recruiting activities;
  • Assist with all aspects of program logistics for attorney training;
  • Oversee accuracy of applicant database (VI Desktop);
  • Assist with attorney mentoring programs including processing and tracking expense reports;

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree; 1 year of experience in Legal Recruiting/PD experience preferred, but will consider a new grad with related internships;
  • Experience with Symplicity (Law School employment communications tool) and VI Desktop applicant tracking software preferred;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
  • Minimum of two years of administrative experience or other related professional office setting;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Written and oral communication skills.
