Legal Personnel Assistant
For the NYC Office of a Very Prestigious Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Assist with a wide variety of administrative responsibilities; including filing, answering and screening telephone calls, drafting e-mails and documents, and scheduling meetings;
- Review and analyze sections of departmental budget;
- Assist with attorney onboarding efforts (i.e., background check process, transcript release forms, and conflict check review);
- Assist with drafting and reviewing biographies for new legal hires;
- Organize various details for Firmwide New Associate orientation;
- Assist with legal recruiting efforts.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree required; 1+ years of applicable administrative work experience;
- Must have the ability to work and interact with attorneys at all levels;
- Excellent organization and communication skills;
- Ability to learn and use various homegrown legal talent and recruiting applications;
- Time management skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other legal personnel databases (including PeopleSoft).
