Talent Development Specialist

For the NYC Office of a Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the Talent Development Lead to design and implement initiatives to increase associate engagement;
  • Design and execute the new associate orientation and assist with lawyer integration;
  • Manage associate mentor program, recommend mentor assignments, monitor participation and report on measures of success;
  • Organize in-house skills training programs; develop evaluations for in-house programs and analyze feedback;
  • Support the annual lawyer review process and identify performance trends to identify professional development needs;
  • Coordinate PLI groupcasts.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required with attorney professional development experience in a legal environment;
  • Strong relationship building skills as well as excellent interpersonal and client service skills;
  • Excellent organization and communications skills, both oral and written;
  • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Effective organizational skills;
  • Proactive mindset and the ability to push projects forward to meet deadlines.
Salary: $100-120k
