Awards & Recognition Manager
For the NYC Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Lead the firm’s participation in awards, directories and survey submissions across U.S. offices and practices and develop and implement strategies that align with the firm’s business development goals;
- Manage team members responsible for drafting submissions, managing nominations deadlines, scheduling interviews, tracking results and performing competitor analysis;
- Review and edit nominations prepared by other team members;
- Analyze award and ranking results in order to provide feedback and recommendations for improving future submissions;
- Prepare partners for interviews with reporters and researchers;
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant editors, reporters and researchers.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years minimum of relevant experience in a submissions role; preferably in the legal industry;
- Exceptional writing and editing skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously and to prioritize competing deadlines;
- Proactive approach with ability to initiate and manage projects;
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to form effective working relationships with individuals at all levels.
