Awards & Recognition Manager

For the NYC Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the firm’s participation in awards, directories and survey submissions across U.S. offices and practices and develop and implement strategies that align with the firm’s business development goals;
  • Manage team members responsible for drafting submissions, managing nominations deadlines, scheduling interviews, tracking results and performing competitor analysis;
  • Review and edit nominations prepared by other team members;
  • Analyze award and ranking results in order to provide feedback and recommendations for improving future submissions;
  • Prepare partners for interviews with reporters and researchers;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant editors, reporters and researchers.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 3-5 years minimum of relevant experience in a submissions role; preferably in the legal industry;
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects simultaneously and to prioritize competing deadlines;
  • Proactive approach with ability to initiate and manage projects;
  • Highly collaborative, with the ability to form effective working relationships with individuals at all levels.
Salary: $150-200k
