Awards & Recognition Specialist
For the NYC Office of a Prestigious Global Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Draft content to promote award wins and recognitions;
- Interview practice leaders and partners and perform research in order to draft engaging and compelling nominations for award opportunities across a range of publications (e.g., American Lawyer and Law360);
- Collaborate with colleagues in PR & Communications and Business Development to identify individuals and matters to put forward for awards;
- Review and edit nominations prepared by other team members;
- Maintain calendar of award and survey submissions as well as track deadlines, status updates, and results of nominations;
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant editors and reporters.
Qualifications include:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in public relations or marketing, preferably at a law firm or professional services firm, or as a journalist;
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
- Exceptional writing and editing skills;
- Excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail;
- Proactive approach with ability to initiate and manage projects;
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to form effective working relationships with individuals at all levels.
