Proposal and Pursuits Manager

For the NYC Office of a Prestigious Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the pursuit process for major opportunities arising from both the Strategic Client Portfolio and Business Unit key clients in conjunction with the relevant BD Managers;
  • Support the pitch strategy sessions and build and maintain strong relationships with other departments that contribute to RFPs, such as pricing, risk management, IT, and others;
  • Ensure practice group value propositions are represented across all materials and platforms (website, pitches, and marketing collateral);
  • Develop a firmwide experience management system that involves implementing technology to consistently code, track, and add matters to a database;
  • Provide key matters for awards submissions and directories;
  • Ensure all Business Development team members are appropriately trained on the Firm’s proposal process and best practices.

Qualifications include:

  • 7-10 years of relevant pitch and proposal experience in a professional services environment;
  • Expertise in InterAction or other CRM system and experience management software;
  • Deep experience with professional services proposals (Big 4 environment a big plus);
  • Proven leadership, management, organizational, and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to build process, procedure, and strategy;
  • Intellectually curious and a life learner.
Salary: $180-200k
