Professional Development & Legal Recruiting Manager

For the Chicago Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage campus recruiting efforts including law school outreach and on-campus interviews, callbacks, and follow-up;
  • Oversee the Chicago office summer program;
  • Collaborate with Senior Lateral Recruiting Manager on Chicago-specific searches and manage the on-boarding and integration of newly hired associates;
  • Manage Professional Development Programs including initiating and developing programming for Chicago associates;
  • Support firm management and operating committees on the associate retention programs and the performance management process;
  • Collaborate with the Diversity & Inclusion Committee on Chicago office D&I initiatives.

Qualifications include:

  • 4+ years of related experience in a professional services environment;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of personnel.;
  • Accuracy and attention to detail;
  • A self-starter who has the ability to work both independently and also collaboratively with the Talent Management team and firm leadership;
  • Ability to provide leadership and support for detailed and complex projects;
  • Integrity - strong professional and ethical standards; must observe confidentiality of personnel and Firm matters.
