Recruiting Manager
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmThis is a filled position.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee lateral associate, lateral partner, and counsel hiring for the firm's New York office;
- Work closely with the office's partners to determine hiring needs and goals;
- Develop and maintain relationships with search firms, industry organizations and candidates;
- Monitor current market trends and provide recommendations;
- Potentially manage a small summer program in the future.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of legal recruiting experience, including experience with lateral recruiting;
- Ability and eagerness to engage and build relationships with the attorneys in the office, as well as recruiters in the market;
- Self-starter, team player, curious, confident;
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
