Firmwide Lateral Associate Recruiting Manager
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Manage lifecycle of firmwide lateral attorney recruitment, from hiring requests through orientation; serve as primary point of contact to internal and external stakeholders;
- Liaise with Practice Leaders, Hiring Partners and firm leadership to understand and identify staffing needs;
- Provide top-notch recruiting experience from start to finish, from initial touchpoint to offer acceptance and onboarding;
- Source lateral candidates through various methods including associate referrals and search firms; cultivate and maintain relationships with external recruiters;
- Support all phases of the lateral recruitment process including arranging interviews, collating and disseminating feedback, and coordinating all steps in the hiring process;
- Keep abreast of key market issues and trends; track information and analyze competitive data, best practices, and trends to make recommendations to adopt when appropriate.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of law firm recruiting experience including experience with lateral associate recruiting;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of law firm business model principles and legal industry trends and challenges;
- Must be a team player and exercise good judgment;
- Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion;
- Ability to work under pressure and have a professional demeanor.
