Lateral Partner Recruiting & Integration Manager

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Facilitate the lateral partner hiring process;
  • Serve as key point of contact for candidates, search firms, and Sponsoring Partners regarding candidate interviews; develop relationships with headhunters;
  • Work with London Recruiting Manager regarding European, Middle East and Asia partner candidates;
  • Work with Sponsoring Partners, candidates, and recruiters to ensure that all diligence forms are received in a timely fashion and maintained in Lawcruit database;
  • Touch base with lateral partner hires to ensure integration is underway and work closely with Associate Director of Lateral Recruiting on the integration checklist plan;
  • Develop ideas to improve/facilitate lateral partner integration.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of related law firm or professional service firm experience; bachelor's degree required;
  • Able to communicate well with lawyers, candidates, all levels of administrative staff, and contacts outside the firm;
  • Excellent facilitation and organizational skills, with the ability to work proactively, to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously; able to work under tight deadlines and maintain poise under pressure;
  • Strong attention to detail; able to work both independently and collaboratively with professionals and staff at all levels;
  • Excellent communications (written and oral);
  • Proven ability to work with time-sensitive and confidential matters.
Salary: $120k-$160k
