Business Development & Marketing Coordinator

For the New York Office of a Very Successful Law Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help prepare pitches, proposals, presentations and RFP responses; conduct competitive intelligence research; track pitches in pitch database;
  • Edit website bios and practice descriptions; post to social media accounts;
  • Keep experience and contact databases up to date;
  • Provide support for all firm business development-related events, including webinars, client seminars and client receptions, as well as select internal firm events; coordinate filling tables for charitable events;
  • Search for and circulate daily firm news;
  • Provide support for senior members of the BD & Marketing team.

Qualifications include:

  • 2-3 years business development/marketing experience, ideally at a law firm or other professional services firm; bachelor's degree required;
  • Excellent technical skills: Microsoft Office and social media platforms; Umbraco or other website content management software, InDesign/Photoshop/Illustrator/Canva, Vuture, CRM software, and research tools a plus;
  • Ability to proactively notice on your own when something needs attention rather than only handling specific tasks when asked; interest in learning about the lawyers’ practices;
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including an ability to meet deadlines and work quickly and efficiently under pressure;
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, team player;
  • Outstanding attention to detail; strong writing, proofreading and communication skills.
Salary: $65k-$75k
