Attorney Talent Recruitment Assistant
For the New York Office of a Very Prestigious Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring of experienced attorneys across the Firm’s New York, D.C. and London offices;
- Assist with all aspects of judicial clerk outreach and hiring;
- Liaise with law schools on timing of applications and participation in LL.M. job fairs;
- Provide support for full-cycle hiring process, including performing initial review of applications, processing applications, coordinating interviews, collecting feedback, executing offer letters, and assisting with reference checks;
- Collaborate with other members in the department regarding bar admission status and with the Firm’s Immigration Attorney on immigration-related questions, as necessary;
- Prepare and track search firm agreements; verify placement fees and processes payments.
Qualifications include:
- 1+ years of legal recruiting or talent experience or applicable experience in a service industry firm; bachelor's degree required;
- Excellent organization and communication skills, in addition to superior judgment;
- Ability to work and interact with attorneys and staff at all levels and quickly gain a strong understanding of the Firm, its culture, practices and policies;
- Ability to conduct online research and synthesize information;
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage projects efficiently;
- Ability to deal discreetly with confidential information.
