Legal Recruiting Specialist

For the New York Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with law schools, career services and student organizations;
  • Coordinate on-campus recruitment events including career fairs, interviews and information sessions;
  • Work with recruiting and marketing teams to develop materials to maintain the firm’s presence on campus;
  • Oversee accuracy of applicant database (VI Desktop) for all entry-level and lateral associate hiring activity; generate related hiring reports;
  • Aid with onboarding for new summer associates, entry-level law clerks and laterals;
  • Work closely with Legal Personnel, HR and attorneys to ensure alignment on recruiting goals.

Qualifications include:

  • 3+ years' experience in Legal Recruiting and Campus Recruiting required; event planning experience preferred;
  • Ability to exercise discretion, good business judgment, accountability, flexibility and maintain confidential information at all times;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a service-oriented attitude;
  • Ability to juggle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining composure;
  • Experience with Symplicity and VI Desktop, and Flo Recruit a plus.
Salary: $90-$110k
