Legal Recruiting Specialist
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain relationships with law schools, career services and student organizations;
- Coordinate on-campus recruitment events including career fairs, interviews and information sessions;
- Work with recruiting and marketing teams to develop materials to maintain the firm’s presence on campus;
- Oversee accuracy of applicant database (VI Desktop) for all entry-level and lateral associate hiring activity; generate related hiring reports;
- Aid with onboarding for new summer associates, entry-level law clerks and laterals;
- Work closely with Legal Personnel, HR and attorneys to ensure alignment on recruiting goals.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years' experience in Legal Recruiting and Campus Recruiting required; event planning experience preferred;
- Ability to exercise discretion, good business judgment, accountability, flexibility and maintain confidential information at all times;
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with a service-oriented attitude;
- Ability to juggle multiple assignments and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining composure;
- Experience with Symplicity and VI Desktop, and Flo Recruit a plus.
