Legal Recruiting Manager

For the Chicago Office of a Well-Respected Am Law 100 Firm
This is a filled position.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all aspects of attorney recruiting in the Chicago office, including candidate sourcing, interviews, and onboarding;
  • Collaborate with hiring partners, recruiting committees, and practice group leaders to develop and implement hiring strategies;
  • Oversee the summer associate program, including training, assignments, evaluations, and event planning;
  • Manage and mentor the Chicago Legal Recruiting Coordinator, fostering professional growth and development;
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new associates, facilitating integration into the firm;
  • Partner with firmwide Talent Team and senior leadership to share best practices and enhance the candidate experience.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of legal recruiting experience; bachelor's degree required;
  • Proven management experience with strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills;
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels;
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and proactive problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ViDesktop preferred) and Microsoft Office;
  • Ability to adapt to new tools and technologies to enhance recruitment processes.
Salary: $130k-$155k
