Business Development Specialist - Private Capital

For the New York Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with partners and global teams to design and implement business development strategies for the Private Capital sector;
  • Draft compelling client-facing materials including credentials, proposals, and capability statements for high-impact opportunities;
  • Use CRM systems and marketing tools to identify business growth opportunities, track client engagement, and measure initiative success;
  • Support the development and promotion of thought leadership, campaigns, and sector-specific content to elevate firm and attorney visibility;
  • Coordinate logistics and strategy for sector events, client meetings, and external campaigns to enhance brand presence and engagement;
  • Maintain internal business development resources and manage sector-related data and content repositories (e.g., SharePoint, team folders).

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in law firm BD & marketing;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail;
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines;
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a global team;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM or business development platforms;
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of business development; interest in the Private Capital or Tech sector is a plus.
Salary: $90k-$125k
