Events Specialist
For a New York Based Boutique Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Plan and execute firm-sponsored events, client presentations, and external speaking engagements in coordination with attorneys and marketing leadership;
- Evaluate and recommend sponsorship and partnership opportunities, including audience targeting and ROI analysis;
- Serve as the main point of contact for all event logistics, ensuring deadlines are met, materials are prepared, and attorney support is provided;
- Lead communication and coordination across internal departments for successful event execution;
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event reporting to assess effectiveness and inform future planning;
- Oversee the full registration cycle and prepare event materials such as invitations, name tags, signage, and handouts.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications, with 4+ years of relevant experience; in a law firm environment
- Excellent proofreading, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel, both independently and collaboratively;
- Strong organizational skills and a proactive, customer-focused attitude;
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while remaining composed;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with iManage, email marketing, or CRM platforms is a plus.
