Marketing & Business Development Senior Specialist
For the LA Office of an International Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Develop and produce customized pitch materials, proposals, and RFP responses aligned with branding and strategic goals;
- Support attorney business development efforts by managing experience tracking, business plans, and opportunity follow-up;
- Plan and execute client events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements, including logistics and vendor coordination;
- Maintain marketing content, including website pages, practice descriptions, pitch templates, and attorney bios;
- Coordinate and manage the legal directories and awards submission process, including timelines, interviews, and follow-ups;
- Identify media and PR opportunities, liaise with communications teams, and ensure firm recognition is publicized appropriately.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree and 4–5 years of relevant experience in a professional law services business development role, preferably within litigation practices;
- Deep understanding of litigation subject areas and familiarity with legal research platforms and regulatory systems;
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization;
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InDesign, InterAction, and Vuture preferred;
- Demonstrated initiative, critical thinking, and ability to synthesize information to support strategic goals.
