Practice Management Specialist

For the New York Office of a Very Prestigious Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Support resource allocation and productivity management by coordinating staffing reports and identifying workflow issues or opportunities;
  • Facilitate the associate review process, including preparing materials, tracking deadlines, and managing communications;
  • Coordinate logistics and communications for attorney rotations, mentor programs, and advisor initiatives;
  • Prepare and maintain various documents and tools such as calendars, checklists, organizational charts, and spreadsheets;
  • Assist with practice group and departmental partner meetings by preparing agendas and compiling relevant materials;
  • Analyze and synthesize data related to professional development initiatives and provide general support on legal personnel projects.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required;
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in a professional services environment; large law firm or corporate experience preferred;
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under deadlines;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong proofreading and interpersonal abilities;
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); ability to manage documents and data effectively;
  • Demonstrated discretion in handling confidential information and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
Salary: $90k-$110k
