Legal Recruiting Specialist
For the New York Office of a Financial Services Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Manage the full lateral recruiting lifecycle, guiding candidates from initial submission through onboarding;
- Deliver a personalized and seamless candidate experience throughout the hiring process;
- Maintain accurate candidate data and generate hiring-related reports;
- Support the entry-level recruiting efforts and the planning and execution of the Summer Associate program as needed;
- Provide support on general recruiting tasks and special projects.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred;
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in legal recruiting, ideally within Big Law or a professional services firm;
- Lateral recruiting experience strongly preferred;
- Proficiency with applicant tracking systems (e.g., FloRecruit, LawCruit) and Microsoft Office Suite;
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently or collaboratively, and adapt to changing demands; event planning experience is a plus.
