Marketing & Communications Specialist
For the New York Office of a Full-Service, Mid-Sized Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Create and distribute weekly internal newsletters and external email campaigns featuring firm content and events;
- Oversee firm social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement;
- Review, edit, and promote attorney-authored articles across digital channels;
- Draft and proofread press releases, newsletters, and social media content to ensure clarity and adherence to brand style;
- Collaborate with attorneys on bio development and personal social media posts for rankings, awards, and insights;
- Manage and update the firm website to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications include:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a professional services firm; law firm experience preferred; bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field;
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail;
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines with minimal supervision;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with professionals at all levels;
- A "can-do" attitude with strong organizational skills;
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with email marketing platforms, CRM systems, or document management tools is a plus.
