Manager of Legal Recruitment
For the New York Office of an International Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Oversee all aspects of attorney recruitment, including law student, judicial clerk, and non-partner lateral hiring, onboarding, and integration;
- Design, manage, and evaluate the firm’s Summer Associate Program, including orientation, mentoring, events, and evaluations;
- Supervise, train, and develop recruitment coordinators and assistants; provide quality service to internal and external stakeholders;
- Manage law school outreach and on-campus interview processes in collaboration with Hiring Partners and the Legal Recruitment team;
- Coordinate non-partner lateral hiring across offices and maintain strong relationships with legal search firms;
- Develop and manage recruitment budgets, ensure data accuracy and compliance, and prepare reports and metrics.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of legal recruiting experience with at least 2 years of management experience; bachelor's degree required;
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and take initiative;
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and recruiting platforms such as LawCruit and viDesktop;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and align recruitment efforts across offices.
