Executive Coach

For the New York or Philadelphia Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide executive and leadership coaching to lawyers across all seniority levels, using modern, research-based coaching methodologies;
  • Assess coaching needs, define engagement scope, and set clear, measurable outcomes for each coaching relationship;
  • Deliver follow-on coaching tied to firm programs such as milestone trainings, diversity initiatives, business development efforts, partner leadership development, and other strategic initiatives;
  • Collaborate with Talent Development colleagues to design and facilitate training programs on onboarding, presentation skills, business development, active listening, and leadership competencies;
  • Present to partners, new hires, and internal groups on the value of coaching and how it supports professional growth and firm goals;
  • Maintain detailed quarterly reporting on coaching activity while safeguarding all confidentiality obligations.

Qualifications include:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience providing executive or leadership coaching;
  • Coaching certification required, JD strongly preferred along with prior professional development or legal talent experience;
  • Strong understanding of the legal industry and the dynamics of large law firms;
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and public-speaking skills, with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels;
  • High integrity, discretion, and professionalism; skilled at handling sensitive situations with judgment and empathy;
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong follow-through, time-management abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
Salary: $160k-$252k
