Legal Recruiting Coordinator

For the DC Office of a Prestigious Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Support all aspects of the summer associate program, including orientation scheduling, tracking events, and preparing mid-summer and end-of-summer evaluations and surveys;
  • Communicate with law schools on student recruitment, including registration for on-campus interviews and job fairs; coordinate and attend recruitment events including 1L and 2L law school panels, receptions and sponsorships;
  • Coordinate all aspects of the law student and associate interview process, including scheduling interviews, managing calendar logistics, working with search firms and tracking candidate progress and school-specific offer data;
  • Support local hiring efforts and communication initiatives, including preparing DC-specific recruiting materials;
  • Maintain accurate, current candidate records and ensure the recruitment database is consistently updated;
  • Manage and process recruiting expenses and budget.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; 2-4 years of legal recruiting experience;
  • Good judgment and professional maturity, including the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion;
  • Punctual, reliable, and flexible with strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work overtime as needed;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, candidates, and staff at all levels;
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while maintaining a high standard of work quality;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other applications as needed; experience with viDesktop is a plus.
Salary: $75k-$85k
