Legal Recruitment Manager

For the Boston Office of a Prestigious International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee all aspects of attorney recruiting, including law school hiring, summer associate programs, and lateral recruitment for the Boston Office, ensuring a seamless candidate experience;
  • Manage and execute the summer associate program, including onboarding, mentoring initiatives, evaluations, and programmatic events;
  • Work closely with with hiring partners and firm leadership to drive law school outreach, on-campus recruiting, and judicial clerk hiring strategies;
  • Supervise and develop recruiting coordinators and assistants, fostering a high-performing and service-oriented team;
  • Lead lateral attorney hiring processes, including candidate sourcing, search firm relationships, onboarding, and integration;
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with firmwide policies and reporting standards.

Qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of legal recruiting, HR, or professional services experience, including at least 2 years in a management capacity;
  • Strong leadership skills with experience supervising and developing junior team members;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism in both internal and external interactions;
  • Experience working collaboratively with senior stakeholders, including partners and firm leadership;
  • Proficiency in recruiting and data management tools (e.g., LawCruit, viDesktop, Excel, PowerPoint), with strong attention to detail.
Salary: $145k-$180k
