Senior Manager, Legal Recruiting & Professional Development

For the Chicago Office of an International Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead strategy and execution of campus recruiting, including law school relationships, OCI programs, and the summer associate program.
  • Design and coordinate associate development initiatives, including training, mentoring, and career progression programs.
  • Partner with leadership on performance management and associate retention strategies.
  • Support lateral recruiting efforts by advising on sourcing, candidate evaluation, and hiring decisions.
  • Manage onboarding and integration for new associates.
  • Oversee attorney data, compliance tracking, and supervise a junior team member.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 6+ years of experience in a professional services or law firm environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Salary: $175k-$190k
