Lateral Recruiting Assistant

For the Bay Area, Boston, DC, New York, or Raleigh Office of a Global Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate and track lateral associate, counsel, and partner candidates across all U.S. offices, serving as a point of contact for candidates and ensuring a seamless and professional interview experience.
  • Maintain recruiting databases, trackers, and candidate records with precision and attention to detail.
  • Support interview scheduling and logistics, including managing calendars and arranging conference rooms and catering.
  • Assist with communications to search firms and internal stakeholders, including practice group leaders, under guidance from senior team members.
  • Contribute to law student recruiting efforts during peak seasons and assist with onboarding and orientation for fall associates and laterals.
  • Partner collaboratively with colleagues across recruiting, HR, and other business services teams, including taking on special projects and initiatives as the team continues to evolve and enhance its recruiting approach.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer skills and preferably familiarity with Microsoft Office, LawCruit, and Workday.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours as needed to support priorities and deadlines.
Salary: $65k
