Practice Group Administrator
For the New York and Philadelphia Offices of a Global Law FirmResponsibilities include:
- Manage client matter staffing, workload, and resource allocation (including distribution of client development, pro bono, and shadowing opportunities) for US counsel, associates, and paralegals.
- Develop and manage Litigation training and professional development programs for counsel, associates, and paralegals.
- Support the counsel and partnership promotion processes and assist with the development and implementation of practice group strategic initiatives.
- Provide data for RFPs, directories, and surveys, respond to other marketing and BD requests, and assist with marketing and client development projects and events as needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues across practices to ensure consistency of processes and share best practices while identifying and suggesting improvements for inefficiencies.
- Assist with maintenance of practice group intranet pages and collaborate with Research Services regarding piloting new subscriptions and tools.
Qualifications include:
- 3+ years of related experience in a law firm or professional services organization.
- Knowledge of management concepts and ability to delegate.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people at all levels within the organization and firm.
- Ability to independently drive a project and maintain a high level of organization on multiple projects.
- Strong client service orientation.
- Motivated and proactive.
