CLE Specialist

For the Boston on New York Office of a National Law Firm

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the administration of internal and client-facing CLE programs, including program intake, credit eligibility review, accreditation applications, attendance tracking, certificates, recordkeeping, and post-program follow-up.
  • Partner with Professional Development, attorneys, and Marketing & Business Development to assess CLE needs and coordinate accredited training programs across offices.
  • Advise attorneys, presenters, and internal stakeholders on CLE requirements, documentation, timelines, attendance procedures, and jurisdiction-specific rules.
  • Maintain CLE compliance records, accredited provider status, audit documentation, tracking systems, reports, and attorney communications regarding credits and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor changes to CLE rules and regulations and recommend updates to procedures, templates, trackers, communications, and program workflows.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot professional development and online learning platforms, while supporting related Talent Management initiatives including lawyer integration and mentoring programs.

Qualifications include:

  • 3–5 years of directly related CLE experience in a law firm or bar association environment required; experience in a large, multi-office law firm strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Working knowledge of CLE accreditation, compliance procedures, and requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to independently manage CLE processes from intake through accreditation, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong judgment, attention to detail, and a client-service orientation.
  • Experience maintaining CLE databases, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and online learning platforms such as viDesktop, PLI, or InterAction preferred.
Salary: $85k-$105k
