Living a Fearless Life

Today is my 62nd birthday and I wanted to share with you what I’ve been working on relentlessly since my trip to Tuscany last year when celebrated my 61st birthday.

Along with delivering over 60 trainings and placing dozens of professionals, I’ve been committed to dissolving my fear.

I have come to believe that the biggest challenges preventing us from our greatest potential are internal, not external. Our inner fear, limiting beliefs and the thoughts we have adopted as truths are what prevent us from achieving our biggest dreams.

Last week, I was listening to a podcast with one of my absolute favorite authors, Suleika Jaouad, whose brand-new book on journaling called “The Book of Alchemy” just came out.  During the podcast she encouraged listeners to write a letter from our fear to ourselves.

This is what I wrote:

Dear Eva

I am your fear and this is what I want to tell you, I’m like the boogie monster. I am big in your imagination but if you look me in the eye and take off my sheet, I am nothing beneath. I’m kind of a bully. I feel big when you feel small. If you challenge me, I shrink. Part of me wants to see how committed you are to your dreams.

It only took me 62 years to see this truth. I hope you are a much faster learner than me, LOL!

So, this year, as I begin my 63rd year of life, I am fully committing to facing my fear head on every time it appears, especially when I’m reaching for my biggest dreams, which are to be ageless and limitless in how I live my life each day!
